"Americans have steadily been losing work to automation for decades, but the trend appears to be picking up speed. Self-driving cars, for example, could soon displace 5 million workers nationwide." My response to this blog post is I think self-driving cars are dumb because cars are not supposed to drive themselves, you drive the car that's how it is supposed to be. Also, how would we teach a self-driving car how to break the rules of the road when needed like an ambulance is coming or other emergency vehicles. According to technology.com, " The car may not have the proper software to know how to navigate extreme weather conditions or tricky congestion patterns." It's gonna get people killed because of the weather changes.
